The department is responsible for the appropriate management of financial resources of the National Bureau, in particular:
- provides financial and accounting services to the Bureau in accordance with the existing rules of law,
- categorises and endorses accounts in accordance with the chart of accounts and accounting regulations,
- calculates and pays remuneration,
- prepares and sends income statements to the relevant revenue offices within the specified deadlines,
- carries out comprehensive financial reporting, including financial reporting on budget execution,
- keeps records of the Bureau’s fixed assets and equipment,
- is responsible for all human resources matters of the National Bureau’s employees.
